Plumbing is any system that conveys fluids from one place to another. A pipe is the key component of any plumbing system. Plumbing uses pipes, valves, plumbing fixtures, tanks, and other apparatuses to do its job. This course introduces you to the discipline of plumbing, pipe categories, and teaches you how to use Revit MEP software to create the design of plumbing systems for a building. It also teaches you the procedure and supporting concepts to define and generate pressure loss reports.
Upon completion of this, you will be able to design a plumbing system with pipes - sizing them, and fixing interconnections such as fittings and flanges in them, all using Revit MEP. Key topics covered include:
