Finite element analysis (FEA) is a computerized method for predicting how a product reacts to real-world forces, vibration, heat, fluid flow, and other physical effects. Assembly FEM represents an assembly level approach to creating a finite element model. NX Nastran is a finite element analysis (FEA) program. This course provides a clear understanding of Assembly FEM in NX Nastran and how to use assembly FEM (.afm) files to support superior workflows for analyzing large assemblies.
