Our eloquent speaker is the ideal person to discuss batteries and their functions because he has spent years researching in this field. Yes, the name is Sushant Mutakegar, and he was born in Belgaum, Karnataka. Having completed his UG Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication in 2014, he went on to secure a whopping 99.4 percentile in GATE 2014 and entered IIT Madras as a research scholar. As mentioned before, his research is primarily concentrated on Li-ion batteries, characterization, BMS, algorithm development, data analysis of EV battery packs and more. Currently, a senior Ph.D. research scholar at IIT Madras, one of his biggest feats includes forming a team of young engineers and developing Li-ion battery testing equipment to study different Li-ion cells.
