Reverse Engineering is the process of reconstructing an existing object. The design engineer takes the end product and comes up with the design specifications of the product. This course teaches you how to gain dimensional information of the object using 3D scanning, how to acquire three-dimensional positional data in the point cloud, and how to establish the original design intent of the object.
In this course, you will be provided with online video(s) to aid your learning. The topics covered will include: Scanning the model Importing the scanned model Step by step process for converting scan data to model
Mechanical engineering students / professionals Product designers and developers Though no educational qualification is mandatory, you must have the basic computer knowledge to enroll in this course.
