MATLAB is a programming platform for engineering. It is based on matrix-based language, the most natural expression of computational mathematics. This course focuses on analysing data and creating models with MATLAB programming. It covers the simplest type of MATLAB programming, known as script, multiple sequential lines of commands and function calls. It also teaches how to create 2D and 3D plots for data visualization.
This is an essential level course on MATLAB for system modeling in mechanical engineering. Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to develop and simulate mechanical models through MATLAB programming. Key topics covered include:
