A project is a temporary effort to create a unique product, service or result. It has a definite start and end date. Project management has two broad categories: process groups and knowledge areas. This course imparts basic knowledge of the components of process groups such as initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing. It also explains the components of knowledge areas: integration, scope, time cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to create a project like a pro - clearly understanding the roles of process groups, and knowledge areas. Key topics covered include:
